Stethophon® 04
Compact listening device for detecting water leaks

Stethophon® 04 is an electronic listening device for recording and amplifying structure-born sound oscillations of whatever kind. The operator hearing protection function automatically ensures that the headphone is muted when loud noises suddenly arise.

Features

  • Filter function

  • Mute control

  • Hearing protection function

  • Digital display of noise intensity complete with memory function

Applications

  • Used as a fast leak detector in water networks
  • Locates leaks in compressed air systems
  • Detects defects in the plumbing and heating installations of buildings
  • Check on machine bearings

DUOPHON®
Analogue water leak detection

The DUOPHON®-system is the result of a very long development and manufacture of detectors. The remarkable features of these detectors are reliability, robustness and efficiency. By developing the DUOPHON® additional importance was attached to low weight, compactness and easy handling.

SeCorrPhon AC 06
Combined correlator and electro-acoustic water leak detector

Electro acoustic methods of leak detection can be affected by external noise interferences such as cars, wind etc. The correlator SeCorr® 08 is unaffected by these interferences making leak detection possible in even noisy environments. Other surrounding influences including the depth of pipe, ground conditions and rain have no effect on the accuracy of results.

Microphones can either be connected to both radio transmitters or if using only one radio channel, directly to the SeCorr® 08. The transmitters can work up to 2 miles in good conditions.

Using the ground microphone at regular intervals allows the leak to be located with sufficient accuracy for confident excavation. When a very loud noise is picked up the sound in the headphones is immediately muffled. If the noises increase even further, the headphones finally are switched off completely.

  • Maximum accuracy and very quick measurements
  • Automatic result optimization
  • PC communication software for printing out and documentation of measurements

(Correlator or Leak Detector can be purchased separately)

 SePem® 01
Stationary noise loggers for the early detection of leaks in water supply networks.

The SePem® 01 Master Control unit allows even the less experienced operator to program and collect date from the loggers. The SePem® 01 Master collects data from the loggers when driving along their installed locations. It is not necessary to take out the loggers from their places or to open the valve box cover.

SePem® 01 Loggers powered by built-in Lithium battery with an operating time typically of 5 years. (with daily radio stand by) The robust aluminum die-casting housing and be mounted horizontal or vertically by 2 magnet connections.

Three different measuring options are available, which can be chosen with or without graphical analysis. Standard endless measuring. Time controlled measurement repeated every 24 hours. One single measurement that can be taken any time and could be of any duration.

COMBIPHON®
Acoustic plastic pipes locator

The Combiphon G5 Generator controls the intensity and speed of the Knocker for service lines or the Stopper for main lines. The generator is powered by a built-in rechargeable battery or 12 V car battery.

Service pipes are set vibrating by the knocker. It knocks just as an electrical hammer from the outside onto the pipe. The knocker attaches to the outside of the pipe so it is not affected by changes in water pressure. Main pipes require more energy to be set vibrating. The water column is set into motion by extraction of water from a hydrant. The water column is restricted in intervals by a shutoff device, the stopper. The created pressure waves transmit and can be located, even over long distances.

The results of both the stopper and knocker are heard on the surface by an acoustic leak detector listening device.
